    In terms of international cooperation activities concerning connected vehicles, we have focused on sharing information from Japan with other countries about how cooperative ITS with radio communication systems is being applied to automated driving. We also survey the technology trends in Europe and the United States and convey the information we obtained to the people involved in Japan.
    In order to harmonize V2X communication systems for cooperative driving automation in global market, we study communication protocols through use cases and share the outcomes of the study at international forums, conferences, trilateral meetings, and international standard organizations.
